Overseeing the Financial Services Group, Ron S. Geffner regularly structures, organizes and counsels

and other investment fiduciaries. His broad background with federal and state securities laws and the rules
and regulations of the SEC, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Commodities Futures Trading Commission
and various other regulatory bodies enables him to provide strategic guidance to a diverse clientele. He
provides legal services to hundreds of hedge funds, private equity funds and venture capital funds
organized in the U.S. and offshore. Mr. Geffner began his legal career with the SEC, where he investigated

Joel M. Schwab, CFA

Mr. Schwab has devoted over a decade of his career to improving the quality and diversity of information and
research on the hedge fund industry. He currently heads up new business development efforts for HFR Hedge
Fund Database & Research Products. He also practiced law in the Corporate Department of the law firm
Katten Muchin Zavis in Chicago. He holds a J.D./MBA from the University of Michigan. Mr. Schwab also holds a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the Walter A. Haas School of Business at the
University of California, Berkeley.

experience. Mr. Mumford was the President and CEO of ABN AMRO, Inc., the U.S. broker dealer of ABN AMRO
Bank N.V., and also served as an Executive Vice President of ABN AMRO Clearing and Execution Services.
He earned his MBA from Harvard Business School, and his B.S. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from
the University of Michigan.
