Mr. Osorio is a native Colombian. He is the President and Portfolio Manager at Andean Capital Management since
he founded the firm in 2008. Mr. Osorio began his career in 1997 at Salomon Brothers (a Citi legacy firm) in
New York and worked for Citi until 2006, as a Director in their Emerging Market Fixed Income trading division.
He traded Latin American external and local currency denominated debt instruments, focusing on the Andean
region. Mr. Osorio has developed excellent private and public sector contacts throughout the region. He
graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in 1997. Mr. Osorio is the President of the Colombian Chapter of
the Hedge Fund Association

Mr. Carvalho is a portfolio manager, risk manager, and research analyst at Tree Capital. Prior to co-founding
Tree Capital, he was employed at Morgan Stanley from 1996-2008. At Morgan Stanley, Mr. Carvalho began as an
equity analyst, covering Latin America telecom and media companies. He received several awards by Institutional
Investor magazine, WSJ Best of the Street, Latin Finance magazine, Reuters, and Greenwich. At Morgan Stanley,
he was also Managing Director, responsible for Latin America Equity Capital Markets from 2006-2008. Mr.
Carvalho also worked as Equity Research Analyst at JP Morgan from 1993-1996. He graduated with a BS in
Electronic Engineering from Mackenzie University (Sao Paulo, Brazil) in 1987, a graduate degree in Finance
from Fundacao Getulio Vargas (Sao Paulo) in 1990, and an MBA in Finance and General Management from the
Anderson School at UCLA in 1992.
