Sarnoff represents District 2, which encompasses Downtown Miami, and he is Chairman of the Miami Downtown Development Authority and the OMNI Community Redevelopment Agency. A native New Yorker, Chairman Sarnoff has long been a strong advocate for the financial services industry in South Florida calling Miami’s Brickell Avenue the “Wall Street of the South.” In his almost eight years as a City Commissioner, Sarnoff has proposed numerous forms of legislation to foster a better business environment including improving local business districts, raising the quality of life in his district and strengthening community policing citywide.

Victor Hugo Rodriguez, Founder & CEO at LatAm Alternatives. Victor has over 19 years of experience in Management, Sales, Marketing and Business Development across the securities industry in the US-LatAm region. Currently he serves as Founding Director of The Hedge Fund Association LatAm Chapter and Founding President of the Security Traders Association Latin American Chapter. He was Partner and Head of Latin American Prime Brokerage for Wells Fargo Prime Brokerage. Before he worked as Director of Latin America for Light Speed Trading (Formerly Known as Terra Nova) and in the late 90's he was the Founding President & CEO of Pristine.com Latin America.

Mr. Osorio is a native Colombian. He is the President and Portfolio Manager at Andean Capital Management since he founded the firm in 2008. Mr. Osorio began his career in 1997 at Salomon Brothers (a Citi legacy firm) in New York and worked for Citi until 2006, as a Director in their Emerging Market Fixed Income trading division. He traded Latin American external and local currency denominated debt instruments, focusing on the Andean region. Mr. Osorio has developed excellent private and public sector contacts throughout the region. He graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in 1997. Mr. Osorio is the President of the Colombian Chapter of the Hedge Fund Association

Mr. Carvalho is a portfolio manager, risk manager, and research analyst at Tree Capital. Prior to co-founding Tree Capital, he was employed at Morgan Stanley from 1996-2008. At Morgan Stanley, Mr. Carvalho began as an equity analyst, covering Latin America telecom and media companies. He received several awards by Institutional Investor magazine, WSJ Best of the Street, Latin Finance magazine, Reuters, and Greenwich. At Morgan Stanley, he was also Managing Director, responsible for Latin America Equity Capital Markets from 2006-2008. Mr. Carvalho also worked as Equity Research Analyst at JP Morgan from 1993-1996. He graduated with a BS in Electronic Engineering from Mackenzie University (Sao Paulo, Brazil) in 1987, a graduate degree in Finance from Fundacao Getulio Vargas (Sao Paulo) in 1990, and an MBA in Finance and General Management from the Anderson School at UCLA in 1992.

Marcia brings 20 years of global industry experience, including senior positions in Brazil, Luxembourg and New York and is currently responsible for managing the sales and client teams that promote the full suite of Citi's solutions to investors, issuers and intermediaries in Latin America. Marcia re-joined Citi in 2011 from BNP Paribas, where she was most recently the Head of BNP Securities Services in Brazil. Marcia is an active member of the financial services community, as well as a strong supporter of the fast growing alternative investment industry in the region. Born in Brazil, Marcia received a BA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, the top business school in Brazil, and a MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
