HFA Shanghai Chapter Symposium

Currently, international hedge funds who want to trade China A-Shares must grant QFII quota. International hedge funds have been granted QFII quota are hesitating to decide if they want to use the quota to acquire China A-share portfolio. At the same time, funds are seeking the opportunities to raise fund from China but not sure how (such as QDLP).

In our panel discussion, we will explore the issue of QFII/QDLP status for foreign hedge funds. Also, we will discuss what are the options for hedge funds who do not meet the AUM criteria for QFII/QDLP. We will examine hedging strategies and ask whether it makes sense for international hedge funds to invest directly in A-Shares given the current market situation and what are other alternatives as well.

Attendance for Managers is free. As there is limited seating Service Providers will be waitlisted.
